About the book:

The day Mona died, she found her true life in the realm of the dead. She discovered her wild and seductive side. She learned the truth about her magic. And she fell in love with a dark prince.

Now, resurrected by the power of the Triple Goddess, Mona is ripped from her new life and returned to the land of the living. She seeks a treacherous path back to the Underworld to rescue her twin sister, Prue—and to return to the love she left behind. But in order to get there, she must sacrifice everything. Her life. Her soul.

Her memories.

When she returns to the Underworld and greets the prince of Hell who stole her heart, she no longer remembers who he is. Seeing him again reawakens her lost feelings, but she has a mission: find Prue. Can Mona reach her before the death magic claims Prue's soul? Or will Mona's heart be seduced by the dark prince once again?

This book picks right up where Ivy & Bone left off, after the cliffhanger from the last one I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book.  This book follows both sisters on separate journeys, Prue has become her husband Cyrus’ prisoner and she is not only trying to gain her freedom but also free the man she loves but also the citizens of The Underworld from darkness.
Mona's journey to save Prue from Cyrus and the underworld.  We also get to see the time Mona spent in The Underworld before her resurrection and we see how her and Evander’s relationship blooms and how they learn how to accept themselves the way they are.
The alternating time lines were written so well and it is very easy going back and forth between time times.
There is so much action, drama and suspense which will keep you wanting more. Wonderful world building this book was definitely a page turner and I highly recommend it.
I was given this ebook as an ARC for my honest review.

''Until chaos reigns''

Book 3 of the Of Flesh and Bone series did not disappoint. Book 3 gives us a better look into the Fae lands of Alfheimr. We get to know Mab Queen of Darkness and Air and how evil she is and so thirty for power she will do anything to claim it.

We still don’t know what Estrella is and that is what a lot of the book is centered around, we do get some answers that we have been wanting since the beginning.

There is a lot of scenes with vividly depicted violence with a lot of blood and gore. There was also a lot of death and some suicide so tread carefully if those are triggering subjects for you.

🚨MAJOR CLIFFHANGER🚨
I am still mind blown 🀯 over this cliffhanger. Legit yelled WTF!!!! 🀬
Needing the next book just to figure out what is going to happen.

My only complaint is that not a lot really happened for how long this story was I feel like there was too much filler and dragged a bit. I still loved the story and would and do recommend this series.

I was given this ebook as an ARC for my honest opinion.

Vacation Wars

 Vacation Wars

By: Meghan Quinn

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Spice: πŸŒΆ️🌢️🌢️🌢️/5

Age Recommendation: 18+

Genre: Romance, Rom-Com, Adult

Tropes: Second Chance, Childhood Crush, Greece, Chosen Family, Sisterhood, Old memories, New possibilities

Tessa is back in Santorini Greece, her families regular vacation destination.  Only this time she’s there with her twin sister Roxanne and their two best friends Clea and Lois for her sisters wedding.  These four women have been together since they were kids and came up with a contract of friendship when they were in high school.  These rules were supposed to help keep them together but this vacation prooves these rules are tearing them apart.

The rule that is focused on is that if any of them are single at 30 they forfeit their love life to their friends and Tessa just happens to be the only single one on the trip and her sister and friends keep trying to force her to date and setting her up.  However Tessa is not taking this lightly she silently declares “Vacation Wars” and teams up with her childhood crush to evade her friends.

Myles the childhood crush comes to Tessa rescue to help her come up with sneaky ways out of the dates.  He is very intrigued by Tessa and this is all a good distraction for him as he deals with the falling out with his father and finding a place within his families business.

________________________________________

I loved the story and found it very cute.  I loved how Tessa gained some self confidence and self respect both of which she was lacking.  It did take her time to build those up which she can thank Myles for showing her that she has worth.

I adored Tessa she was so awkward and would ramble when nervous which was adorable but was happy to see her come out of her shell.  Her sister and friends I did not like at all, her sister Roxanne was incredibly narcissistic and very toxic.  She was the ring leader and Clea and Lois followed her and did whatever she told them mainly to keep the peace with her.

Myles was an incredibly swoon worthy MMC and the way he just wants to be there to help Tessa was so sweet.  I loved his character!!!

Overall this was a great story well balanced with family drama, comedy and romance.

I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a hilarious vacation romance this is it.
