I absolutely adored this book, I love the whole Hawthorne family.  

Flint Hawthorne is a mega movie star and moved back home to Silver Creek, NC to have more privacy.  Audrey is a Wildlife biologist who is dedicated to her work and the land that her research is done she decides that she will take a chance in trespassing to continue her research.  Then she caught on the security cameras…and their friendship blooms from there and their fake dating scheme 😉

This is a wonderful feel good story and it’s nice seeing Audrey bloom and become more confident, I love how open and honest they are with each other.  

Definitely recommend this book ☺️

Where do I even start?  This book is the 3rd book in the McGowen Mafia Series and the 3rd book I’ve read from this author.  I devoured them all.  This book is very dark at times so please read the trigger warnings.

Katie has had a rough life under the rule of an awful mafia father so once she is no longer under his rule she wants a life of freedom but that is not what she gets dating her rockstar boyfriend Tommy.  (There is a special place in h3ll for men like him)

Not long into the book Katie realized she has a masked stalker and ends up having a fling with someone she doesn’t even know.  

There is also a mystery that they set out to solve and some action.  It’s hard to write this review without giving too much away.  

If you love dark romance and morally grey characters I highly recommend this book.  

Thank you Effie for the e-arc and for bringing this family to us all.  Cannot wait to see what happens in Logan’s story.

They hype and obsession over this book is real and understandably so.  I felt this was a perfect mix of world building and character building.  I felt that the story went a long at a great pace.  I LOVE this book, is easily one of my favorite books of the year and will probably become my whole personality.

Violet was a great character, I love how she didn’t let her disability stop her from achieving all that she did.  It also shows that physical strength isn’t everything and is not all that makes someone great.

Xaden…(swoon) he was deliciously morally grey and the chemistry between him and Violet was 😘🤌🥵🥵

I also enjoyed the banter a lot!

Dain…well what can I say about him.  He’s well, a D-bag.  I don’t care for him and I would love to see Violet lay him out in the next book.  

This is a binge worthy action packed romantasy I will recommend this book to everyone.  Go read it ASAP!!!!
