Effie Campbell is a new to me author and I absolutely loved this book.  This was a spectacular Mafia story.  Esther this bratty Mafia princess the daughter of Malcom the leader of the McGowen family.  He had arranged her to marry Harold Thompson the man who killed her mother and her brother.  She does what any woman would do she fled to another country.  Alec was tasked at finding Esther and bringing her back to marry.

Esther proved to be more than just the spoiled brat Alec believe her to be making it very hard to find her and once he does she does everything she can to ruin every single one of his plans.  What he didn’t plan was to end up with more feelings for her than just annoyance.  

The character development was wonderful and really transplants you into the story.  This book is very spicy but oh so good 😊 

I highly recommend.
