Elise is still at Aurora Academy trying to find out who murdered her brother. She has suspects...the four Kings of the Academy. She has kept her mission a secret. We learn more about the kings in this installment. Leon Night has three moms...WHAT?!?! one of course is his birth mother. However, his father has three wives and they all raised Leon together. He has a brother who in my opinion is a massive jerk that abuses his control of his order gift which is charisma. Dante Oscura has a huge family, his mother is sweet and loves her draggo. I did not expect the plot twist regarding his Uncle Felix towards the end. Ryder Draconis is massively messed up due to the torture he endured as a child at the hand of an Oscura Clan member. Last but not least Gabriel Nox, we still do not know much about him only that he has adoptive parents and someone is after him. (If you read Zodiac Academy first like I did you know all about Gabriel <3)
The last scene between Dante and Ryder is very sad, I cannot wait to see where this leads.
A WAR IS COMING...
I do feel this book lost a little of the plot of searching for Gareth's murderer. I feel Elise lost sight of that a bit and has been more wrapped up in keeping her harem of men. It seems that sometimes is more important to her than her mission.
I also thing we need to look further into the extremely sketchy siren Ms. Nightshade she is up to no good. She would definitely be a suspect for me.
